Our founder, Ed Zaron, is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and a leader in the computer software industry since 1978.


Career Highlights:

 
1999 to 2024 - Crystal Beach Software:
In 1999 Ed founded Crystal Beach Software to focus on client-server and web based productivity software. Today, Ed dedicates himself to web site design and programming, search engine optimization SEO, and managing Crystal Beach's cadre of highly skilled consultants.  His current projects include MDIware.com (a windows environment for browsers), online business operations software, promotional websites, and SEO consulting.

1990 - Zaron Software:
Ed founded Zaron Software and published Hyper-Word, the first hypertext word processor which was a precursor to today’s modern web browsers.

1978 - Muse Software:
Ed founded Muse Software as one of the first microcomputer software firms.  Muse published over 20 software titles including the groundbreaking action game Castle Wolfenstein and word processor SuperText.
